Over the last ten years Acts 29 has emerged from a small band of brothers to over 400 churches in the United States and networks of churches in multiple countries. We want to allow a unifying, uncommon move of God to happen through Acts 29 -- all centered on the gospel and advancing the mission of Jesus through obediently planting church-planting churches. It is our desire to see this leading to millions of lives changed by the power of the Spirit for the glory of God. Acts 29 is not a model or a style. We have classical church plants with a preacher and a congregation, we have video-delivered sermons, we have missional community models, replants, and existing churches that want to plant churches with us. We seek to be a movement of church-planting networks - that is, decentralized and empowered networks to lead men of all different types of churches in order to make disciples of all people groups.
Stadia brings people and churches together to transform lives and communities through church planting. Stadia strives to provide the BEST planter care possible to create the healthiest servants and most sustainable church planting environments. We have pioneered many of the practices we provide within our planter care strategy: support network, formal assessment, coaching, project management, and spousal support through Bloom!
Converge Church Planting provides vision, oversight and systems support so that each Converge regional partner may excel in the planting of new churches. Currently we are joined in a faith effort to see at least 351 new churches started in the U.S. from 2010-2015. Additionally, the office of Church Planting comes alongside the International Ministries office to help catalyze new ventures and encourage church planting effectiveness. Church planting assessment, LEAD Teams and A2:5 (English-speaking church planting globally) are all part of this office. Our target is to start at least 80 new churches this next year (fifty-three are already in the works).
Starting Life-Giving Churches. While we recognize and celebrate the unique aspects of every church plant, ARC is committed to supporting your success in four foundational ways: 1. We Help You Start Strong. We show you how to build your launch team, raise funds, form a worship team, develop your children’s ministry and gain momentum. 2. We Reach the Unchurched. With more than 110 million Americans never or rarely attending church, it’s critical that we cross cultural walls to reach the lost. ARC is all about helping churches stay culturally relevant. 3. We Build Relationships. Solid relationships are the foundation for growth in any aspect of life. 4. We Support Financially. We know that it takes money to do ministry. That’s why ARC invests financially into the vision of starting new churches.
